‘It is now the fourth day since he was slain’ answered Aragorn; ‘and since the evening of that day we have journeyed from the shadow of Tol Brandir.’
‘On foot?’ cried Éomer.
‘Yes, even as you see us.’
Wide wonder came into Éomer’s eyes. ‘Strider is too poor a name, son of Arathorn,’ he said. ‘Wingfoot I name you. This deed of the three friends should be sung in many a hall. Forty leagues and five you have measured ere the fourth day is ended! Hardy is the race of Elendil!’

Achievements
Here are the two achievements we had for this quest:
Wingfoot
Complete stage 1A in less than 3 rounds.
An Unlikely Friendship
Complete the scenario with Legolas and Gimli as heroes in separate decks (and both are not captured by the Orcs).

Encounter card Opinions
With a staggering 87% of the votes, the favorite encounter card in this quest is Eastemnet. Beautiful art, low threat and quest points, beneficial effect, and starts the game as the active location, giving you some much-needed early game resource acceleration.
There were no cards for this quest that received votes for favorite and least favorite.
There were 7 different cards that got votes for least favorite encounter card–some enemies, locations, and treacheries. The winner with 4 votes was Rest by Night. This one presents a very difficult choice, and is a wonderfully designed card that represents the very difficult choices that Aragorn had to make in the pursuit of the Uruk-hai across the plains of Rohan. Stop for the night and rest, allowing the orcs to advance their lead? Or exert yourselves by pushing on through the night?

Cool moments that happened during the games
I flipped to the b-side of Fellowship just in time for Sam, wielding Sting and supported by Rosie, to destroy Uglúk
I won during the quest phase on round 4 🏃🏼♀️💨
Vigilant Dunedain was the MVP of the quest. With the boost from Arwen, he defended 75% of the attacks and then could attack twice for 4 with Gandalf + Narya.
Got a friendly draw for round 1 (Unseen Barrier x2) and then raced through on round 2 to earn the Wingfoot achievement. Eomer needed two rounds to take down Ugluk, but also dispatched multiple other Uruks with help from Aragorn’s readying. With a relatively clear board, I was able to quest out on round 4.
A turn one Banks of Entwash really pushed my pursuit value up quickly and put the pressure on.
Merry and two 5 attack Booming Ents mowing down the Uruks.
I simply went with the basic Forth The Three Hunters concept and package, with a quick pop up from Thurindir with his Gathered Information
both attempts finding Vilya was super hard: 1st attempt – Vilya not in starting hand, not in mulligan, use old bogey-stories to shuffle 6 and redraw, use drinking song to redraw now 5 – get gather information. Quest, reveal encounter for no more than 3 progress on the current quest. Quest next round – finally get Vilya with Gather Information and play it only in round 3. Still won with 24 pursuit Second attempt – Vilya not in starting hand, not in mulligan, play Daeron’s Runes twice, use old-bogey stories to shuffle and redraw 6, use drinking song, use second drinking song from top of the deck in quest phase with Gandalf – finally Vilya among the 4 remaining cards that I drew and I can play it round 2. This time final pursuit was 16
Beorn’s Welcome (ALEP) is pretty rad if you have a spare copy to throw on Aragorn. And Revealed in Wrath – provided you actually read the card and don’t try to illegally use it on Ugluk – can really help whittle down those enemies with higher Toughness.
Grishnákh was revealed on turn 1, and I spent some time figuring out how to proceed without losing one of my 2hp Hobbit captives the following turn. Luckily it worked out (Aragorn’s ability saved the day) and the rest of the quest went relatively smoothly.
