Month in review and Q&A announcement

Greetings all,

This blog has been around for slightly over a month now, and the support has been massive. Not only have people from the community taken it upon themselves to write a couple of articles, but I am proud to say that the blog has been seen over 3000 times by people from 40 different countries. I feel honoured that so many of you have taken the time to look at this experiment I made to kill some time.

The last month has been more productive than I had intended. I believe to have found a good balance between the blog and the rest of my activities. I will continue to try and release at least 1 quest review, and 1 trait review each week. More articles may come out if I find the time. I have also managed to catch up on more recent content, as FFG hasn’t been releasing a lot of content this month. I have also smashed the set goal I set for myself in January, being already halfway-ish through the Dwarrowdelf cycle. However, I do think that the more extensive quest will lay before me, as certain scenarios will take a lot of time to analyse (looking at you, Foundations of Stone).

I hope to continue this trend and start the Against the Shadow cycle midway through March. Like I have said before, Saga, Nightmare, and POD quests will not be handled in this blog until I catch up completely with current content or if I find a volunteer. Speaking of volunteers, I am still looking for more people to write an article about a quest that you either like or have a lot of experience with and would like to share those experiences. Let me know if you would like to claim a quest, this can be from the Dwarrowdelf cycle (in which case you have to fast) or from later cycles. It may even be from the Harad cycle if you particularly want to talk about those quests while they are still fresh.

I would also like to improve the blog to the likings of the community, so if you have any suggestions on how to improve either the site or the articles, let me know in the comments below. I will also be taking questions about me, my playstyle, my (current) decks, favourite scenario’s, storage solutions, etc. If you have a question, feel free to post them below. I will try to get the answers out by the end of next week.

In the meantime, I would like to thank everyone for their continued support of the blog. It feels like the community is starting to get more active after a half year of drought. More blogs and podcasts are being set up, so pay them a visit as well. You can find their links in the blogroll on my page.

Thank you guys, and I’ll see you in the next article!

Authors Note: The Q&A of March is closed, but I will still be taking questions for future Q&A sessions. I have no set date for those yet.
