This was a very special month for the game and its community. On the 20th of April, the game turned 10 years old! This is a great milestone for any game to reach, and I'm happy to see that the game's community is still so strong. We are still seeing new players appear in groups … Continue reading Month in Review: April 2021
We are steaming along with 2021, and April is almost over. During this month, I posed the question on what quest you liked least of all. Much like the February poll, I took my poll entries from previous cycle polls, and this time took the quest that was the least favourite. Putting all 9 quests … Continue reading Monthly Poll: April 2021
This cycle is keen to revisit past quests and fix what was broken with them. In today's episode, we get Assault on Osgiliath 2.0. Not only the mechanics are the same, but even in the announcement for this pack, FFG mentioned that you are defending "the ancient capital of Gondor". Last I checked, Dorwinion wasn't … Continue reading Wrath and Ruin
I have been hard at work figuring out the next part of my storage solution as many of you might know. While the previous solution worked great, it had some glaring problems that became apparent as I started to collect the NM packs. Because of the fact that the boxes no longer fitted the NM … Continue reading Storage Solutions IV
March has been a month of highs and lows for me. On the one hand, I have gotten a crazy amount of new expansions in this past month, and am nearing completion of my Nightmare collection. Just 4 packs remain at this point. I also received the components of a Fellowship kit, allowing me to … Continue reading Month in Review: March 2021
Some say this is enough playmats, they are wrong It is time to close another poll and look at the results! I quite enjoyed this month's poll, as we got a ton of reactions and discussions about what playmat is best. I also received my copy of the Balrog playmat this month, which is looking … Continue reading Monthly Poll: March 2021
The Seventh Level is one of my testing quests (I test a lot against Dwarrowdelf in general) and particularly for my combat decks. The classic Seventh Level has always been a quest that pushes out a ton of enemies. It requires you to do well against them, while also making enough progress to get through … Continue reading Nightmare The Seventh Level
I have wanted to make this article for a while now as a follow-up to my Collectables article. But with the recent update to that one, and with my own items for this year coming along nicely, I finally pulled the trigger and started writing this article. What is this article exactly? Well, it lists … Continue reading Community support and swag
With exactly 4 weeks since the previous monthly update, the month of February has finished again. It has been a month of community members searching high and low for the Fellowship kits, and I have been one of them. Luckily, I have managed to get my hands on some parts of the Fellowship kit that … Continue reading Month in Review: February 2021
This poll took quite a lot of setup, as in previous 9 polls, I asked you all what your favourite scenarios were in each cycle. The nine winners of those polls then advanced to the poll I put up for this month, to see how those scenarios stack up against one another. While I have … Continue reading Monthly Poll: February 2021
